In a gesture aimed at promoting education and giving back to their Alma mater, the Old Boys of Agulu Grammar School, 1998 set has put machinery in motion to offset the West African Examination Certificate fees of the students of the school for the 2024/2025 Academic session. The Set made this known during a Novelty football match organized at the school in remembrance of their 25 years after graduation from the school. According to the Chairman of the planning committee, Mr. Donatus Ezeudu, the 1998 Set recognized education as the bedrock in which the future of our society will be shaped and that most parents lack the financial strength to shoulder the payment of these fees hence this vision of paying the fees for the students.
